Homework over the weekend is only math. Overall the students did very well with their spelling tests. Keep it up. We have begun learning to write friendly letters and hopefully soon will have a second grade penpal. Specials for next week are:

Students have one sheet of math homework and no reading homework except to study their spelling words for the test tomorrow. A new spelling backet will be in their Friday folders for next week. Parents please take time to remind your children that they need to keep their hands off others.

There is no homework tonight. We have been working on part, part, total using base 10 blocks. Study those spelling words and packets are due tomorrow.

One sheet of math homework. Today we finished explorations. Please ask your student what part they liked best about each one (there were two). We also had a fire drill today and the students did great. We are still looking for donations toward the cookies and other items for Friday Dec. 17th. Tomorrow we will be seeing the Imagination Makers in the morning. I believe the students will really enjoy this. Tomorrow we have art for specials. Thursday we have music and Friday we have PE.

No homework. My math group is working on explorations through tomorrow. The Bromley ball is this Friday and is aimed at Mother/Son and Father/Daughter having time together.
