There is no homework over the weekend. We will begin working with money (coins) next week. Remember we need to have the permission slips and money returned by Friday for the Colorado Wildlife Adventure. Also there is free dress on Thursday for those students that have earned it.

Specials for the week of September 20th are:
Monday - music
Tuesday - PE
Wednesday - tech
Thursday - art

There is no school on Friday this week.

Homework tonight is lesson 2-6. The students are also bringing home the clocks they made. Please quiz them on the hour hand by asking them to make the hands show a certain time.
Today was the first day of our new dismissal procedure. The specials teachers will now bring the students outside instead of us dealing with the chaos of the east door. This will hopefully make the pickup quicker and smoother as we won't have so many parents to get through.

the students have one sheet of homework for math 2-5. We have started working on analog clocks and the hour hand. Please ask your child which hand is the hour hand if you have an analog clock. It will be good practice. We had a short reading test today so look on line to see your child's grade. We have PE tomorrow so don't forget your tennis shoes.

Sorry this is coming out so late. There is one sheet of homework 2-4 (math). On Mondays, I need to leave immediately after the kids are picked up. Please be on time this day. The rest of the week is not a problem. I will try to make sure this post is complete before I get home in the evenings. Thanks for your understanding I have family obligations on Mondays.
