We finished working on odd and even with dominoes today so there is no homework over the weekend. A note is coming home in your student's Friday folder with the name of their reading and math teacher starting in the second quarter. We are beginning ability grouping in order to enhance the learning process for all students. Monday the museum will be coming to our school in the afternoon to give the class on Colorado Wildlife Adventures. If your child did not turn in a permission slip they will have to sit in the office during the class. Then on Tuesday we have scheduled the fire department to come out in the afternoon and talk to the students on safety. Our Halloween party is scheduled for October 28th at 2:00 (yes that is p.m.) I have a fun craft for the kids and a cool packet also. Friday October 15th is our harvest hop. Come in the evening in costume and trick or treat through the school and play some games in the gym.

One sheet of math homework tonight. I need to know if parents are okay with our HRH having your emails. If you are NOT, please let me know. Remember to bring in your box tops. End of quarter is next week so if your student appears to be missing some work please encourage them to turn it in. Progress reports should be in your students homework folder.

Sorry there was no blog yesterday, I was out again. One sheet of math homework is coming home. In math we started working on even and odd numbers. Please test your children on these to see if they get them. Tomorrow specials is art. We have music on Thursday and PE on Friday.
